Highlight: Bathurst 1000 Second Place
“It is hard to forget that moment when you step up on the Bathurst Podium. It is always a great feeling and to share that moment with Triple Eight, Shane and the fans made that moment even more special because I was the first “Frenchie” to be on Bathurst 1000 Podium. I wish I could be on the higher step, but I will try hard next year to make that happen.
“I felt, we really deserved that podium, the race was long, hard and a lot of drama in the last quarter of the race made the race harder, and we kept the pressure on until the last corner. It showed as we ended up only 0.140 tenth behind the winner.
“The entire weekend was magnificent. Sharing the house with the Red Bull drivers, making dinner (each driver was making their “speciality”) and driving around Bathurst, it was the coolest week of the year.
“I like this image a lot because Shane and I are enjoying ourselves as you can see by the massive grins on our faces. Jumping on the Podium with crowd cheering was a special moment.” – Alexandre Premat
