2025 JAMIE WHINCUP RACE WORN SUIT

Jamie Whincup’s Final Supercars Outing

Jamie Whincup returned to the Supercars grid for the 2025 endurance races alongside Broc Feeney in the #88 Camaro. Their campaign began dramatically at The Bend, where Supercars trialled a controversial new Safety Car procedure incorporating an 80km/h Slow Zone. During a practice simulation, Whincup collided with Scott Pye as the cars slowed sharply entering the zone, highlighting concerns about the complexity and safety of the new system. The procedure was subsequently abandoned ahead of Bathurst, with Supercars reverting to a more traditional Safety Car format. The Bend race itself proved challenging, with a refuelling problem and two off-track moments contributing to a 19th-place finish.

Whincup and Feeney bounced back at the Bathurst 1000, finishing sixth at Mount Panorama. Whincup added another Mount Panorama start to his remarkable career while balancing his driving duties with his role as Managing Director of Triple Eight. Away from the driver’s seat, he continued to lead the team through another successful campaign, with Red Bull Ampol Racing securing its record-extending 13th Teams’ Championship as Feeney and Will Brown combined for 16 race wins and 20 pole positions across the season.
