“Apart from Saturday’s race, been a great weekend I think. We rolled the cars out pretty fast, right up in the mix on Friday and in qualifying and then put it on pole position in what was a tricky shootout on Saturday – rain, wet, really tough conditions on Saturday.”
“Unfortunately, that race on Saturday in the wet, we just really struggled and never really fired a shot. We dropped back a lot of positions from the front where we started.”
“Then to come back in the wet on Sunday, top every session, first in qualifying and first in the shootout was a fantastic result – especially in the conditions. Just reassured us that, you know, we can do it in the wet as well. The race we led start to finish – there were some fast guys behind us, but we did a really good job at managing the race.”
“We needed to get a win. It’s been a few rounds and the Enduros were really tough for us, so we needed to get that ball rolling again.”
“You talk about momentum, you just want to strike that confidence back in yourself, but also back in the team. So a lot of good stuff this weekend, we’re in a good place.”
“Second year of the Finals and we don’t change how we go about it – you go and try and win races. We played the Final as well last year, I mean, we led the Championship going into every round. Unfortunately I missed out by a couple of points this time around for the top seed going to Sandown, but you know, we go to Sandown in second on the ladder and we had a pretty good run there last year, got a win. The goal is to go to Sandown and try and win, put ourselves in a good position come Adelaide.”

“What a wild weekend. It’s always wild here, the concrete, the curbs, the crashes, but then it was raining here since Wednesday so it just adds another thing to the first round of the Finals.”
“We rolled out ok on Friday, had some great pace in the garage and set some fast times in practice and qualifying for that first race – went into the Saturday shootout seventh and then started the race from maybe a few spots back from where we wanted to be.”
“Don’t know what happened that Saturday race – it just rained and we weren’t quick in the wet, either of us.”
“Coming out on Sunday was a completely different story – the car was fast! But it back in the shootout in second and as everyone’s going out one at a time you’re just watching the weather, you don’t want it to rain after everyone else has had a dry go of it. Stoked with the lap, crossed the line fastest with one runner to go and got pipped for pole after Broc was done, but yeah stoked with the lap and stoked with the car speed compared to the day before.”
“The race, I didn’t get a bad start, Broc and I took off a little but something was wrong there during the first stint and we just started dropping back, losing a lot of time. We need to go away and look at it. Extremely disappointing.”
“You take the positives away and we’re through to the next seven at Sandown, we’re still in the Finals even though we’ve dropped back from third to fifth we’re still in it. We’ve had good success at Sandown lately, last year the car was a rocket, so we’ll attack it again, work hard and make sure we’re there at the end in Adelaide.”
