“Feel for the team today, that was a disappointing way to end, we were both in it Broc and I, we both went in to it today feeling good.”
“Qualifying felt good, we felt fast and it was nice to be up there where we should be again. There were some fast laps that went down.”
“So we started, made up some spots and after that just felt like we were driving around for most of the race. Yeah a bit happened at the start, saw that. Had to focus on my pace and may race but that was disappointing to see on lap one. Finished on the podium. That’s a nice way to end the season but it’s not the way we wanted to finish up. We were in it until the end and wanted it, didn’t get it.”
“We’ve not had the best season, there’ve been things we’ve needed to fight through and things to work on for next season but to come in to the first year of the Finals and get all the way to the end like we did is a plus.”

“Today, final race of the season and a Championship deciding race, it’s a very difficult one to talk about. I don’t know what to think, to be honest. We had the engine issue with #88 yesterday and then we we changed absolutely everything going in to today, so we came out this morning thinking it was fine. No issues in qualifying, no issues in the shootout, everything fine. It was going up until lap fifteen then the engine just started to misfire, that put the car five or more abouts seconds off the pace per lap and from then on it’s all over.”
“So ultimately that was the issue, that stopped any fightback that Broc was making. But turn one, I don’t want us to sound like the sore loser, we’re not.”
“We feel like this season and this weekend and for the team we deserved it, we deserved to do well today and be up there. But for one reason or another we didn’t get it. I don’t know why we deserved that, what happened, we didn’t deserve that but that’s what happened.”
“Will did a phenomenal job today to stay in the race and stay in the battle all the way up until the end. To finish on the podium is a well deserved result and caps off a Finals series where he’s shown everyone why we have the faith in him we do as a team.”
“Broc has had an incredible year, one of the standout years for any driver. Today was a disappointing day for Broc, that car and a team who didn’t deserve the season to finish that way. We’ve got to make sure we look after him (Broc), certainly the next day or two because with things like this they can be heavy, they can go either way. Anyone that dedicates everything to a cause and it doesn’t come off, it can go either way. We’ll just monitor him, make sure it goes the way it should go and we want it to go and that he takes great strength from it.”
