Red Bull Ampol Racing 2026 Livery Unveiled at Ignition On Event.

Red Bull Ampol Racing has unveiled its 2026 Supercars Championship livery at the Ignition On fan event in Geelong in front of passionate racing fans.

The livery will feature on the team’s #88 and #888 Gen3 Ford Mustang GTs this season, the latest cars built by Triple Eight Race Engineering since partnering with Ford as the manufacturer’s Homologation Team.

Supercars, motorsport and racing fans were treated to the unveiling at the Geelong Foreshore in front of an iconic backdrop with a high energy show including an aerial display, pyrotechnics, and burnouts from the new Supercar. The event was held in Geelong down the road from the historic birthplace of Ford in Australia where the first Australian Model T rolled off the assembly line in 1925.

This season’s cars add the iconic Ford blue as accents and in stripes as seen on other Ford Racing partnered teams around the world, while maintaining the team’s traditional matte navy blue synonymous with long term title partners Red Bull and Ampol.

The team’s engineering lineup continues with Martin Short with Broc Feeney and his #88 car, and Andrew Edwards with Will Brown and his newly badged #888 car, both working under the guidance of Team Manager Mark Dutton and Head of Performance Pete Ringwood.

With ongoing support from long time title partners Red Bull and Ampol, the team will again enjoy support from major partners Ampol Amplify Premium Fuels, Freighter, JGI, National Storage, New Holland, Quad Lock, Shaw and Partners Financial Services, Snap-on, Supercheap Auto, Thrifty and Wurth while welcoming Century Batteries and Ford Racing.

Fans at the Ignition On event in Geelong also got to see the team’s new Adidas merchandise range, which is a partnership first in Australian motorsport for the leading global sports apparel brand. The new Red Bull Ampol Racing X Adidas range is now available for purchase on the team’s online store at www.redbullampolracingshop.com.

Both Red Bull Ampol Racing Mustang GTs will be put through their paces at Queensland Raceway on test days ahead of the opening round of the 2026 Supercars Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park on 20 February.

“Finally seeing these cars in the flesh and ready to go racing is big for us, for everyone here at Triple Eight. The work that’s gone into these two cars over the off season has been and continues to be huge, it’s an incredible effort from everyone here.”

“In the off season the team have finished an engine shop and set up an engine program that’s ready to go for the season, they’ve done aero testing, built cars and gotten them ready to race. That’s no small feet and I’m really proud of everyone that’s been involved to get us to this point.”

“Today is about celebrating that in Geelong in front of Ford fans, racing fans and our fans. We wanted to make noise and bring a show to Geelong, this is Ford heartland and to have Red Bull, Ampol, Ford and our major partners supporting the team and the event has taken it to another level.”

“The car looks great, I’ve seen my share of Red Bull Ampol Racing cars and this one looks great.”
“We announced this Ford Racing partnership twelve months ago, huge moment for Triple Eight and Red Bull Ampol Racing, and this is our next big moment in that story showing these cars to the fans.”

Jamie Whincup
Managing Director and Team Principal, Triple Eight Race Engineering

“Look at that livery on the car for this season! To be honest I love it, it’s come up fantastic overall, it’s a Mustang which is different to look at for us but it looks good, I’ll get used to it very quickly.”

“My favourite part is the new #888, very excited to run that this year and it’s nice there on the window. Stoked about it. We’ve seen the two cars next to each other with the iconic numbers #888 and #88 and it just looks right, the way it should be. It’s exciting.”

“It’s all come together really well this year – with Ford Racing, with these new Mustangs that look and sound awesome, our suits alongside them… I’m excited about the whole thing. Feeling good and keen to get back racing in a few weeks!”

Will Brown
#888 Driver, Red Bull Ampol Racing Team

“It’s a different look for 2026, we’ve gone with the Ford Racing stripes which look great. You see the different Ford Racing cars and teams around the world and they’re all running good looking cars, ours is right up there. It’s cool to have a change for this season. It’s cool to see our first Red Bull Ampol Racing livery on a Ford Mustang.”

“Can’t wait for the season to start. I feel like it’s come around so quickly, off season has flown by and round one is right there already.”

“Couldn’t be prouder of the guys and girls that have gotten these cars together so we can go racing. The design, the build, the engine shop, it’s no easy feat to pull all that together in the time we have and it’s what makes this team great to be a part of.”

“I can’t wait to hit the track and get to work straight away.”
