Positive Signs in Practice But Work to do For #88 and #1 Ahead of Weekend

Sandown 500 – Practice 1 & 2 Results

Will Brown – Car #1

Practice 1 – 11th (1:09.4675)
Practice 2 – 7th (1:08.7625)

“Bit of work to do before tomorrow.”

“I feel like we rolled out not where we wanted to be this morning. I mean we’ve had success here, we’ve had a fast car most of the season, we’ve been able to make it work and it feels like today we’ve come out and aren’t where we wanted to be.”

So we’ve gone about it, two practice sessions today, we made a few changes and got a bit better between the two then made some ground towards the end there. Were a bit better on the greens, but even then we spun on our second lap there which is disappointing, so again bit of work to do before tomorrow.”

“We’ll have a look at it with the team, do what we need to do – obviously tomorrow is super important for us and we need to be ready so we’ll go get ready and go for it tomorrow.”

Broc Feeney – Car #88

Practice 1 – 18th (1:09.6173)
Practice 2 – 4th (1:08.6729)

“That’s not the day we wanted to have. This weekend is so important, you could say one of the most important to get to the end of the season, be in it to win it. It wasn’t a good day. But it’s Friday and it’s practice and we’ll go away and look at it and get better before tomorrow. We’ll be ready to go for qualifying tomorrow.”

“Huge amount of work done between those two sessions and you could tell in how the car was, but there’s still a lot of work to do.”

“When everyone put greens on and had a run we’ve gone fourth which is positive, but to be honest it didn’t feel like a fourth place lap and a fourth place car. We’ll go away and get it the way we want it to be to go out tomorrow as strong as we need to be.”

“Big weekend ahead, qualifying, shootout, race both days that we need to be ready for and now we know where we’re at we can go get ready for the weekend. Go get ready to race.”
