Scott Pye’s 2025 season marked his second year as Will Brown’s endurance co-driver at Triple Eight Race Engineering, bringing experience, composure and proven racecraft to the reigning Supercars champion’s campaign. Having built a strong partnership with Brown, Pye played a vital role in preparing the #1 Red Bull Ampol Racing Chevrolet Camaro for the sport’s biggest endurance events.
The Bend showcased exactly why Pye remained one of the category’s most respected co-drivers. Starting deep in the field, he carved through the pack with an aggressive opening stint, gaining four positions on the opening lap before continuing to charge forward. His drive laid the foundation for Brown to challenge for a podium, with the pair recovering from 16th on the grid to finish fourth in one of the standout comeback drives of the Enduro Cup. Brown later joked that Pye had “sore shoulders from carrying us,” praising the veteran’s outstanding opening stint.
At Bathurst, Pye again demonstrated his speed by topping Practice 2 in difficult, changeable conditions, underlining the pace of the #1 Camaro heading into the Great Race. However, a challenging weekend, including wet-weather drama during the race, left Brown and Pye with a disappointing 17th-place finish that failed to reflect their true potential.
Although the results didn’t fully reward their efforts, Scott Pye once again proved why he remains one of Supercars’ premier endurance co-drivers. His speed, experience and ability to deliver under pressure made him an invaluable part of Will Brown’s campaign and reinforced the strength of one of the championship’s most dependable endurance partnerships.
