Will Brown entered the 2025 season as the reigning Supercars Champion, carrying the coveted #1 on his Red Bull Ampol Racing Chevrolet Camaro. Competing under the championship’s inaugural Sprint Cup, Enduro Cup and Finals Series structure, Brown claimed two race victories and remained a consistent championship contender throughout the year. His wins came at Albert Park and Queensland Raceway, while his ability to recover from difficult qualifying positions repeatedly kept his title defence alive.
One of Brown’s defining performances came during the Sandown 500 Semi Final. After qualifying 15th for Saturday’s race, he charged through the field to finish second before producing another remarkable recovery from 17th to third on Sunday. Those results secured his place in the four-driver Adelaide Grand Final, where he began as the third seed, 35 points behind championship leader and teammate Broc Feeney.
Brown remained in contention through the season-ending Adelaide weekend and ultimately finished runner-up in the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship behind Chaz Mostert. Although he was unable to retain his title, his resilience, race craft and exceptional recovery drives helped Red Bull Ampol Racing secure the Teams’ Championship and reinforced his position among Supercars’ leading competitors.
