During a record breaking season, Feeney secured 19 pole positions, 14 race wins and the inaugural Sprint Cup, but fell agonisingly short of his maiden Supercars Championship in a controversial Adelaide Grand Final.

The engine made history on debut, delivering victory for Car 88 in the opening race of the 2026 Supercars Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park in February 2026 – Triple Eight’s first race back with Ford.

It went on to win Races 3 and 6 before its final outing in Race 7 at the Australian Grand Prix in March 2026. Soon after the start lights went out, Car 88 was involved in a heavy Turn 1 incident, ruling it out of the race.
