The engine made history on debut, delivering victory for Car 88 in the opening race of the 2026 Supercars Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park in February 2026 – Triple Eight’s first race back with Ford.
It went on to win Races 3 and 6 before its final outing in Race 7 at the Australian Grand Prix in March 2026. Soon after the start lights went out, Car 88 was involved in a heavy Turn 1 incident, ruling it out of the race.
Following that accident, the car was returned to Triple Eight headquarters where the decision was made to fully rebuild the engine.
This limited-edition release contains one of only eight original spark plugs from that engine – a rare piece of history from the beginning of Triple Eight’s latest Ford era.
