“We always put a little-added pressure on ourselves at Queensland Raceway as it is our home track. We do a lot of kilometers around that particular circuit, as we also test there, so we feel like we should know it better than anyone. It has not been uncommon for Melbourne teams to come and show us up on our home turf, which makes you feel pretty average. Qualifying performance was something we were working on as pole positions had been few and far between at this point of the season. When we got it, we were very happy about it and it was very rewarding to see the hard work pay off.” – David Cauchi, Car #88 Engineer.
