HIGHLIGHT: Holden’s 500th win
“This was certainly a massive highlight of not just the year, but my career. We had an awesome day around the Symmons Plains track in Tasmania, and at the same time we managed to get Holden’s 500th victory in the category. I felt really honoured to be able to do that for the manufacturer, and it was my first ‘proper’ victory for RBRA in Supercars. I had brought home some silverware from the AGP the month before, but apparently the AGP doesn’t count for points, ha! It really was an awesome day. It was certainly better than the day after, that is for sure….” – Shane van Gisbergen.
