“There was a little bit going on out there. I saw a couple of crashes, but we just didn’t have it at the end of the day, we weren’t fast enough. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and today wasn’t our day. Some days you’re thinking certain races are so easy coming first and today you’re trying so hard to come sixth. We struggled a bit at Townsville, and we’re still sort of where we were then. I feel like I did the best for what I had, but we’ve just got to work on it a little bit and see where we end up. There’s not much you can do about it. We’ve had a very consistent car all year, even if we might not have been the strongest in the last round. If sixth is a bad day, we’re not doing too bad. We just need to work on it, and try and find out what’s going on, but I’m sure we will bounce back.”

“The first half of the session I thought was really good. I felt like we got through our test program pretty well. We made a lot of changes and felt pretty competitive. But we put another set of tyres on and really struggled, however when we went to the race allocation, it was a bit better. So, a bit of a mix in that mid-to-end part. I think we’re somewhat in the mix. We need to have a look at the first half of the session and then our green run at the end. It’s just analysing everything tonight. We made a lot of changes today so it’s just about figuring out what we thought was best and going forward tomorrow. But we’ve got a competitive car, we just need to do some fine-tuning from here. It’s good to be under the lights again, they do such a good job at lighting this track up that it doesn’t really feel too dark out there. But obviously you got things lighting up in your car that don’t normally light up, which is pretty cool. And to see some flames spitting and all that stuff, it’s cool.”
