Century Batteries Powering Triple Eight, Red Bull Ampol Racing in 2026

Iconic Australian Battery Manufacturer Century Batteries has accelerated its Supercars presence, today unveiling a landmark new partnership with Triple Eight Race Engineering as Official Battery Partner of the Red Bull Ampol Racing team.

Under the multi-year partnership, Century joins Triple Eight Race Engineering and the Red Bull Ampol Racing team as an Official Partner for the 2026 and 2027 Repco Supercars Championship – with the Century Batteries logo set to appear on both Red Bull Ampol Racing Supercars driven by Broc Feeney and Will Brown as well as across driver suits, pit equipment, team apparel, and official merchandise.

As a proudly Australian-made brand with almost 100 years of manufacturing heritage, Century has built a strong legacy in motorsport – one that continues to grow. The company remains the Official Battery Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship and will once again return as naming rights sponsor for the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 in 2026.

Shaun O’Brien, General Manager – Automotive at Century Yuasa, said the partnership marked a major milestone for Australia’s oldest and most trusted battery manufacturer.

“This partnership is a huge step forward for Century Batteries. We’ve supported the Supercars Championship for years, and now we’re proud to partner with one of its most successful and respected teams,” Mr O’Brien said.

“Triple Eight has built a legacy on performance, innovation and consistency – values that align perfectly with our own. We’re excited to be part of their 2026 campaign and everything that comes with it.”

From in-car vision and behind-the-scenes content to digital integrations and team-wide activations, the partnership gives Century a high-impact role in Triple Eight’s 2026 campaign – both on and off the track.

Jamie Whincup, Managing Director, Triple Eight Race Engineering, welcomed the new addition to the team.

“It’s fantastic to have Century Batteries join the Red Bull Ampol Racing team in 2026. Like us, they’ve been part of the Supercars paddock for many years, and it’s great to now have them onboard as an official partner,” he said.

“They bring a real passion for the sport and a strong commitment to excellence – two things we value highly at Triple Eight. We’re looking forward to working closely with them and seeing where this partnership can take us.”
