“It’s good to be back in Darwin, I always have a lot of fun up here. It was great to get back out on track. We started today well being fastest in the first practice, it felt like we were really competitive overall. To be honest we probably detuned it a little bit in the second practice run. We know what we need to do to be better, we’ll revert back to what we were in the first session and make a faster car for tomorrow.

It’s great to have the Clontarf boys here with us, I just hope they’ve had a good time! Obviously, we don’t get to spend a lot of time with them during the day but I’m taking Brock (Compton, livery artist) for a hot lap this afternoon so that will be pretty special.”

“It would’ve been great if we performed a little better today, but the team is working hard to make changes to hopefully give us a more competitive car for the rest of the weekend. It’s been pretty cool to have the Clontarf students here to see the livery on track and in the garages. For them to be able to see the artwork from concept to now actually being on the track is something that would be special.”
