What’s that we can hear? Strange… it doesn’t sound like the rev of a V8 or the squeal of rubber against tarmac. It sounds like laughter. And singing. Glasses clinking and snags sizzling on the barbie. Awesome, it must be the Bathurst victory party all over again!
Oh no, wait… it’s… Christmas!
That’s right, folks. It’s time to drop the (work) tools and spend the festive season with our other families, the ones who put up with our incessant habits of trying to run telemetry for the kids’ lap times in the pool, writing a minute-by-minute test plan for finding the most efficient bottle opener and getting the pressure gauge out every half an hour to make sure that damn inflatable swan is running the right PSI.
We’re shutting up shop this week to get some much needed R&R ahead of next year’s action. We’ll be back on Monday 7 January, by which time we’ll be raring to go racing again. In the meantime though, from everyone at Triple Eight Race Engineering, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
