“It was really cool to get into the shootout twice this weekend. It was certainly a goal of mine to get into both shootouts, and to get onto the second row for the second race was really good. I had a great start and my first stint was awesome running P2. I had some pace over Brodie (Kostecki) but got stuck behind him. We then started to get a bit of rain, but I still felt really quick because I was on the super soft tyre. Towards the end of the race, the rain really came down and it was a tough one towards the end, especially after the restart it was really hard to see. The whole event has been good for us. Obviously, qualifying has been really solid for us, especially today. The results weren’t what I wanted, but I was still running up the front and battling for the lead in a Supercars race. There’s certainly positives to take out of it but there’s certainly a long way to go.”

“We struggled in the mixed conditions all weekend, and this morning’s qualifying was no different. We were one of the first to cross the line, but I kerb-hopped and made a mistake, but we probably weren’t much better than where we qualified which is a shame. The first half of my race was pretty poor driving on my behalf. The car was really good in the dry, and then in the mixed wet-dry conditions, we weren’t very good. The team put a great strategy in place to get us back on the lead lap, then we had a chance to gain some spots. I made some better calls and the team did a good job putting on wet tyres at the right time. Sixth is an awesome result from 21st, but it doesn’t tell the story of how our day went as a whole.”
