A new face amongst the Red Bull Ampol Racing Team in 2024, Will Brown made every single post a winner in his first season with Triple Eight. Earning a podium finish at every event for the first time in 40 years, Will set a new standard for consistency, showing a wicked ability to drive through the field on his way to his first Supercars Drivers Championship.
Brown showed his true potential long before he secured himself a full-time drive in the Supercars Championship. He achieved a rare feat in 2016 winning both the Formula 4 and Toyota 86 Racing Series crowns within the same year.
After this rare achievement, he progressed to the Dunlop Super2 Series driving with Eggleston Motorsport. The highlight of his time during Super2 was in 2017 when he was awarded the Mike Kable Young Award. He finally snatched his breakthrough victory in 2019 at Perth.
During his maiden season in 2021, he managed to deny JDub and SVG during a Sydney thriller, going ahead to win his first race. During 2021 he also scored provisional pole at Mount Panorama, and finished up the year with an extremely credible eighth place in the series standings.
As 2025 looms, Will looks to carry the same devious grin he started 2024 with into a brand new Supercars era - as the Finals series will force himself and Car #87 engineer Andrew Edwards to change tach, and put wins at the top of the priority list.
A man of many talents, Will keeps himself fresh by doing what seems to be as much as you can possibly fit on a monthly calendar. Quite honestly, aside from racing any car he can get his hands on (and probably racing planes if he had it his way), he is still selling cars and enjoying the bustling Toowoomba lifestyle. What a guy.
Bringing you the best from your 2024 Supercars Champion!
