Andrew
Andrew moved to Triple Eight in 2022 after almost two decades at Brad Jones Racing. A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Melbourne, Edwards was part of the Bishop Innovation team developing the rotary valve F1 engine – until the technology was suddenly banned in late 2004.
He joined BJR in 2005 as a data and design engineer, stepping up to race engineer before focusing solely on BJR’s overall engineering manager role from 2015. He will be SVG’s third race engineer in as many years at Triple Eight.
Steering (see what we did there) SVG to a stellar Driver’s Championship win in 2022, they cemented themselves as one of the most dynamic duos on the grid. Now teaming up with newcomer Will Brown in the #87, the duo plan on taking home plenty of silverware in the 2024 season.
