Practice 1 – Ninth (51.3463)
“We were trending really well at the start of practice and had really good pace sitting in P1 when we put our tires on at the end, but we didn’t get as big of a gain and ended up in ninth. I didn’t do the best lap, I think that our car’s better than that, we could be a top three car. I think it shows because our customer cars are up the front. So, it shows we’ve got a good base and that’s a great part of having those customer teams. But personally, I’ve got to do a better job tomorrow. Overall, though, I think we’re in a good space. I am enjoying being back in Tasmania. It’s not too cold today but enjoying it. It’s always a bit of fun, the layout’s always awesome. You can’t make a mistake here because instead of being second or third, you end up ninth. So, you’ve got to try and do a really tidy lap and it’s going to be interesting to see if it rains tomorrow.”
Broc Feeney – Car #88
Practice 1 – Eighth (51.3443)
“I was probably a little bit off the pace for the first half of the session, but we were a bit more competitive at the end when we put different tires on. We’ve got a bit to look through tonight though. We’re probably not super comfortable with where we are at the moment and we still have got a bit to find, but we’ll see. It’s hard to definitively summarise that session, but I think after a decent data review tonight we can hit the ground running before qualifying and the race tomorrow.”
