“The boys did a great job on strategy as always, and I was able to move forward 8 positions to P7 which was great. It was another recovery drive again today, I have to sort out qualifying and start from the front. I was disappointed in qualifying with the red flag, it just meant that we started 15th. We had really good pace and made some good passes. I think ultimately, our strategy is what got us to where we finished today. A lot of positives to take into tomorrow. I think when you look at Broc and all the customer cars, they’re all up near the front and I’m confident I could have been up there with them in qualifying if it wasn’t for the red flag. I have a lot of confidence in how good our car is and hopefully, we can get a good result tomorrow and be on that podium.”

“It was great to get pole position again. We’ve been focusing a lot on qualifying, so to have a good session in the weather this morning and then back it up in all three sessions, and convert to pole position is awesome. The race – it wasn’t a great start but got away, got to the lead and, was able to manage that lead, and get it out to over a second at one point. I struggled quite a bit with some of the cars coming out of the pits, got caught up with those guys and ended up losing that gap. Unfortunately, we got jumped a little bit in the pits and got chased down by Chaz on three tires at the end, but Nick was really fast in the last stint. In all fairness, at the last round we were outside the top ten and managed to scrape our way back into the ten. This is definitely quite a strong track for us, however, it’s great to be back up on the podium and I think everything is going good so far. We were pretty strong here last year, so to show up, be pretty competitive, have a great qualifying – which we’ve been focusing on – and then our race pace in the first stint, was really good. I got caught up in a bit of racing stuff and probably struggled a little bit more at the end, so we’ll have a look through it. Otherwise, got a trophy, and we’ve closed up the points gap, so I’m happy.”
