Bulls on Top After Practice Day in Bathurst

Friday Result

Will Brown, Car #87

Practice 1 – Third (2:08.5702)
Practice  2 First (2:07.5507)

“Everything went really well today; it was a smooth day. We kept the car on the track which is the main thing and then we were able to finish in P1 in practice two with a final run in the dry. It was great to be able to get a little bit of wet weather running in, it also meant that the team had some opportunity to focus on pitstops during that time. Qualifying tomorrow is going to be important. Here in Bathurst track position is really important, so hopefully tomorrow we qualify well and then also have some fun in the Top Ten Shootout, we’ll then see where that leaves us for the race.”

Broc Feeney, Car #88

Practice 1 – First (2:07.9551)
Practice 2 – Third (2:08.1444)

“It’s been a good day. We rolled out strong this morning. I think I had confidence from last weekend, to be honest, just being very familiar with the track. This meant we were able to hit the ground running straight off. Practice one was a good session, but practice two was a bit of a weird one with changing track conditions due to weather. For practice two the team focussed more on pitstops and processes like that throughout right up until the end when we saw a bit of a shootout happen. I don’t know how much we can read into the finishing positions, but I do think we were quick throughout the day, even in the wet conditions. Overall, a good confidence-building day for me.”
