Did someone say Grand Prix?

Here we go again, another year in the glitz and glam of the Australian Grand Prix which plays host to round two of the 2024 Supercars Championship in the form of the Melbourne SuperSprint. Set to host four days of on-track action, Albert Park is the next destination on the Bull’s calendar. And although we have been relocated out of the pits this year, we are still charging ahead.

Albert Park will host five different categories across the four days including, Supercars, Porsche, Formula 3, Formula 2 and the motorsport pinnacle (as some say) of the Formula 1. With a jam-packed schedule, there is plenty to keep up with. But back to Supercars, although we aren’t the focus of this event, the races are still counted toward the championship so every point counts. The Bulls have had a cracker start to the 2024 season which has seen the team return to the front of the garage and we’re super proud of the team for this (champagne for all!).

We’ll be hitting the track for races each day of the four-day event, with plenty of chances to catch the Bulls doing what they love. Let’s hear from Will and BFeen ahead of the big weekend 👇

Will Brown – Driver, Car #87

“It’s always an awesome weekend for the Melbourne SuperSprint, and it’s such a great vibe down there when the Formula One is in town. To be able to compete on that weekend is awesome. It’s pretty cool leading into the weekend with orange numbers. It’s such a fast-flowing track, you’ve really got to make sure you don’t make a mistake because that could hinder the next corner. It’s just about hitting all your apexes and getting it right. Last year was pretty special for me at Albert Park, it was my first podium for the year after a tough round, which made it a pretty good year for me last year.”

Broc Feeney – Driver, Car #88

“It’s a cool event and pretty different to what we are used to. This year is even again more different than last year with no pitstops, which is going to make for some pretty interesting racing. Overall, it’s such an awesome event to be at and great to race on Formula One Sunday. It very different from our normal Supercar’s tight, twisty tracks, it’s a very fast and flowing track with plenty of passing opportunities, which makes it pretty cool to race on. The fans there are something that really stands out to me every year, when you race on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, you can just see the place is packed with fans. For us, we feel like celebrities for the weekend with the amount of people who attend.  My first win for 2023 was at Albert Park last year on the Sunday morning, it was pretty special to get the pole for the same race as well. Just getting to stand on the Formula 1 podium and have my dad up there with me was pretty cool. Hopefully, we can top it again this year.”
