Hey Siri, play “Up Around the Bend”

Hey Siri, play “Up Around The Bend”.

The bulls are raring to go as they make their way day for the annual visit to Tailem Bend. With our suitcases packed to max weight, with our warmest layers, the team are ready to put some heat in their tyres, and return once again to The Bend, for Round 8 of the Supercars Championship.

Heading into the weekend after gaining some positive momentum and collecting much-needed data during the Sydney SuperNight, we’re heading into the OTR SuperSprint prepped and ready to add to the trophy cabinet.

Broc Feeney – Car #88

“I’m looking forward to the race this weekend. It’s obviously quite a different track then the ones we have driven at recently. It’ll be interesting to get back into it after being at Queensland Raceway for the GT World Challenge Australia last weekend to go to Tailem Bend where it is a very different track. The Bend will be interesting in the new cars, we’ve got less downforce and it is a downforce track, which will make for a good challenge. I always enjoy driving there, it’s always great fun. I’ve had some good results there in the past, I had my first ever win back in 2018 there, which is pretty cool. Three solid races this weekend is the goal.”

Shane van Gisbergen – Car #97

“The Bend is a track that is a driver’s track. Qualifying is so important at this track and with the racing being as close as it is this year it’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out. Hopefully it will make for some good racing and the team can continue with the good results we had in Sydney.”
