KNOW YOUR 2017 PIT CREW

Iron out those shirts, fix those collars and clean up those Salomon kicks, class is in session for 2017.

Counting down the days until another Supercars season launches, we’ve done some chopping, changing and re-arranging to our race team to ensure we are in prime form to charge into Clipsal at full force.

Now ladies, don’t panic, Team Manager Mark Dutton will still be gracing your screens, as will Car #88 Engineer David Cauchi and reigning champion engineer Grant McPherson on car #97.

However, like the Stig, our pit crew are often hidden behind their helmets, so when it comes to knowing who is who amongst all the action, it’s pretty darn tricky! Try as you may, everyone is pretty much identical once they don a very attractive pit crew suit and helmet combo.

The pit crew consists of those who work on the car, so not only do they have to know the ins and outs of the RBHRT VF Commodores, but they also have to be quick on their feet and pros at working under immense pressure (because working under RD every day isn’t enough! Kidding, Boss…).

So, to make things crystal clear, here’s our pit crew for the 2017 season.

For all you pit-savvy super fans, Gooey is also the man for left front, he’s a wizz on the rattle gun!

Many hands make right work, and with this lot on the front line and all of the guys and girls behind the scenes, we are excited to start the season.

The Red Bull Holden Racing Team hit the streets of Adelaide for the Clipsal 500, March 2 – 5.
