“It was a very short race with only two or three racing laps today. It was a bit of a shame dropping back a couple of spots at the start and the racing was pretty crazy with Will on the hard tyres. It seemed every time I’d have a crack at him, I’d end up on the wrong side or something like that. The team got me a couple of positions in the end with the pit stop, and we managed to get P4. We have a couple of fourth positions now which is a solid points boost for us but I want to be on the podium. Our race was destined to be shorter due to F3 running long and us having a few safety cars, and it was completely different to yesterday when we had five sessions that were non-stop all day.”

Shane van Gisbergen – Car #97                                                                                                                                      “Firstly, a huge congratulations to Brodie (Kostecki) and the team on his first win, that’s awesome for them. I had an average start, but I had a good battle with Brodie at the very start into turn three when I went around the outside of him, and then on the restart I was damned if I did and damned if I didn’t – I wasn’t sure where to go. If I went to the inside of turn three Will (Brown) would have blocked me up and Brodie would have got around, so I went for him and he ran me off the road, but I would have done the same thing. My focus on these next couple of races is to try to score as many points as possible now. We have to keep scoring points and keep closing the gap after those points got taken off us in Newcastle.”
