“It was really disappointing to miss out on Q3 today which set us up for an average day. Unfortunately, we just weren’t fast enough out there. We struggled a bit in the race and didn’t have enough pace. We caught up to the guys right at the end, and I wish there were another couple of laps because I might have had a chance to claim a few more spots, but we have a bit to work on to be more competitive, and we’ll make some changes overnight so we can be where we want to be tomorrow. Overall, I think we can be faster but at the end of the day it comes down to qualifying at the front and having clean air.”

“I had a pretty awesome battle with Brodie (Kostecki) at the end of the race. I got out of the car after the race and made sure he enjoyed the battle too. The racing was obviously on edge of what’s legal and what’s not – I love that stuff but it’s always a fine line with what’s allowed in our rules. He (Brodie Kostecki) got a bad sportsmanship flag, and I’m not allowed to bump him out of the way, so it’s a fine line, even though I loved it. With a one-on-one battle, you should be able to do what you want, but there’s obviously some grey areas. Everyone is fun to race this year which is awesome, and I enjoy the battles.”
