When HQ is bursting at the seams

We’re set to lead a more organised regime following the partnership with the storage powerhouse National Storage for the remainder of the year.

In an effort to ensure the team can spend more time working and less time searching, National Storage joins Triple Eight as the team’s official storage supplier and will provide tailored storage solutions for the three-car outfit.

Triple Eight will take lease of a large storage facility (thank goodness) to securely house the ‘organised chaos’ that is consuming much of Triple Eight HQ in Banyo.

The introduction of Holden’s ZB Commodore to the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship and Red Bull Holden Racing Team’s role in developing the next-generation Commodore Supercar plays a large part in the storage demands.

“This partnership provides a valuable resource for the Triple Eight to effectively manage all the physical aspects of running a three-car team,” said Triple Eight Race Engineering Managing Director Roland Dane.

“Facilitating the build of not one but four all-new Holden Commodore’s this season has been a huge task and we’ve outgrown our current facilities. We obviously have an abundance of historical pieces we need to preserve as well as the various car parts, components and equipment we may need again in the future.

“National Storage have gone above and beyond to provide secure storage tailored to our needs. As a racing car team, we rely on local access to our storage around the clock.

“We have the three race cars as well as our beloved Sandman and chassis 48, as such free space is hard to come by. National Storage provides a win-win solution for our company and will help us focus on what we’re best at, which is winning.”

We can already hear the collective sigh of relief from our OCD fellows around the workshop…

The exciting new partnership will see the ZB Commodores of the Red Bull Holden Racing Team and Autobarn Lowndes Racing carry National Storage branding throughout the remainder of the current season.
