12 DAYS ‘TIL CHRISTMAS HIGHLIGHTS – DAY 10

10 days ‘til Christmas Dutto gave to us…

HIGHLIGHT: Townsville Podium

“This, for me, was the turning point in the season, from this race meeting forward we really hit our strides. The hard work put in from the team for the season was immense, but can be broken down into steps.

Step 1: The end of 2015 up until Clipsal. A massive effort to get three cars, three crews and three garage setups ready for Clipsal. Then to win race one of the year, that was a box ticked.

Step 2: From Clipsal to Townsville. The work to maximise car base setups across three cars. A crucial test day in amongst this time, another box ticked.

Step 3: Townsville through to the enduro season. Build JDub a new car and produce a replacement for Team 18, not to mention a drift car thrown in too. Top effort by all.

Step 4: Enduros. Great car speed, great pit stops, great driving, however, we didn’t achieve the race wins that we wanted to, but still, we came away with the PIRTEK enduro trophy.

Step 5: The run home. We wrapped up Teams Championship early, wrapped up the Drivers’ Championship to knowing it would be a Red Bull car early too. The whole team’s performance for the year has been incredible, thank you all. ” – Mark Dutton, Team Manager
