“Feeling really good in the car, really confident. We’re learning every session, just trying to fine tune the last couple tenths in the car to extract the best, and to find a bit of time within myself. But overall, a fairly happy day. Both Craig and I are feeling comfortable in the car and ready to tackle the rest of the weekend. I am wanting the best we can possibly achieve tomorrow. If we can extract the best we possibly can out of the car, in the package we’ve got, that’d be a tick. For sure, my eyes are certainly forward to Sunday. It’s a big day.”

“Much more comfortable by the end of the day. Mainly because Practice One, we just went through some strategy stuff and set up, just to see what direction we needed to take the car. The track’s evolving. I think it’s coming to us, which is good. I only got a couple laps in Practice Three, but it was enough to make me feel more confident that the car is better in the areas that we needed to be, particularly stability under brakes. It’s got a bit more turn, still got the good drive that we’ve always had from day one, so that’s a positive. So to end day one, I’m really confident and really happy. I think the biggest thing is to look at the weather, see what we can do if it’s raining tomorrow, which is what they’re predicting. I don’t know if we’ll get much out of it, but I think we’ll take a lot from today. But, tomorrow is all about the fine tuning, obviously, qualifying is an important phase of the weekend. So, if we get that right, at least start on Sunday in a good position and we’ve got somewhere to fight from.”
