“I feel quite decent. I probably didn’t maximize myself when the right opportunity came in the best portion of the track conditions, so a little bit disappointed there. But we’ve also got 161 laps to go out there and make some moves. Craig’s starting so hopefully when I jump in it’ll be somewhere in the top 10. It was definitely very tricky conditions, and I am yet to get it all right at the perfect time, right at the end of the session. I think tomorrow our pace is going to be very good, and dry. It was good obviously, on Friday I finished fifth and beat the boss, which is always a good thing. However, me and Craig are quite confident in the dry as well and we should be all right.”

“It’s been a challenging day, to be honest. I think we knew that today was going to be the wettest of the weekend. Cooper did a really good job. I’ve got to commend him, he did a great job in qualifying, and although the starting position isn’t what he probably wanted, he kept it on track, and didn’t do anything silly. We didn’t maximize what we had because of the traffic and other circumstances outside of our control. But it’s been a great day. We’ve learned a lot. We carry a lot more confidence now going in tomorrow. The race is going to be long. I’m starting the race, being the primary driver. So, I’m excited to do that. Get my laps out of the way and get Cooper’s race underway.”
