“It was a pretty cruisy race for me today. I got a really good start and got up to fourth, then the boys up front tangled. I think they were just racing hard, and it was unfortunate because it was cool to watch from behind. From there, it was pretty much sit behind Broc until the end. I had a good little race with Chaz (Mostert) at the end, he threw it down the inside which was cool, but overall I was really happy with the race. With no pit stops at this event, I think all drivers are having a real crack at the start and it’s making it exciting for the racing. I think you saw how urgent Matt Payne was trying to get past Cam (Waters), so I think everyone is enjoying it this weekend.”

“I was pretty fired up last night and pretty disappointed with myself after yesterday’s race after making an error like that. Literally, my foot missed the brake pedal and I felt like I threw away another team one-two, but to get another one today is pretty crazy. We knew we had fast race cars; it was all about getting a clean start and moving through the pack which we both did. I’m absolutely pumped for the team and stoked to be back on the podium, and we’ll give it another crack tomorrow. Will started sixth today and got up to second so we’ll see what we can do tomorrow. I’m spewing that I threw away those couple of points yesterday, and I’ve made a couple of small mistakes this season already which I need to work on. We’ve got the pace, we just need to clean up a few things.”
